Title I is a law under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA)  of 1965, which provides federal funds for compensatory (“extra”) educational services. Title I funds may be used to provide: additional teaching and/or assistant positions, staff development, materials and additional supplies in the areas of reading and math, and additional technology. The school’s  Comprehensive Needs Assessment helps with determining the needs of the school.
