Dr. Thomas Ducey, Ph. D
Dr. Ducey is a Research Microbiologist. He is a resident of the city of Darlington. Dr. Ducey is a volunteer youth baseball coach, interested in STEM development and integration, and is the facilitator of the Virtus Academy LEGO Club.
Mr. Carlos O. Washington
Mr. Washington has been involved in a number of different volunteer organizations including Department of Juvenile Justice Board Member, former president of Florence Jr. Football League, School Foundation Member, Salvation Army Board Member, Florence Youth Basketball Board Member/Governance, and Student Discipline.
Dr. Marie DeVincenzo, Ph. D.
Dr. DeVincenzo is a professor of Marketing at Francis Marion University. She incorporates PBL into her courses at FMU and wants to help build a foundation in the K-12 area to help set her students up for success later in life. She is involved in faculty governance and the accreditation processes at both the school and university levels at Francis Marion University.
Ms. Stacy Coleman
Ms. Coleman is a financial analyst for McLeod Health. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Ms. Coleman is an active member of Greenwood Baptist Church.
Dr. John Atkins, MD
Dr. Atkins is a pulmonologist with Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia, SC. He is a veteran of the United States Army Medical Corps. Dr. Atkins is a graduate of United States Military Academy at West Point.
Mr. Don Strickland serves as the Executive Director at Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority. He attended Francis Marion University where he earned his BA in Business Management as well as attending the Non-Profit Leadership Institute and Non-Profit Grants Management Training. He currently serves on several non-profit boards in the Pee Dee Region. Mr. Strickland and his family reside in Darlington county.
Mr. Scott Kozacki
Mr. Kozacki is an attorney with the Attorneys of Willcox, Buyck & Williams, P.A. in Florence. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Kozacki is a current or former member of the S. C. Bar Labor and Employment Law Committee, Workers’ Compensation Law Committee, and the Law/Physician Relationship Committee. His civic involvement includes volunteer work for the Institute of Faith and Justice, coaching youth athletics, and membership in the Florence Kiwanis Club.
Mrs. Amanda Tyner, RN
Mrs. Tyner is a South Carolina State Board certified registered nurse liaison for McLeod Health, Nurse Case Manager, and an experienced event planner. She is involved in area economic growth. She is also an experienced public speaker.
